A magnetic agitator uses a magnetic coupling between an external drive unit and an internal impeller. This system transfers torque through a sealed barrier—typically a stainless-steel —eliminating the need for conventional mechanical seals or shaft penetrations.
1. The external motor and drive magnets are mounted outside the tank or vessel.
2. Inside the vessel, the driven magnetic impeller is installed.
3. Torque is transferred magnetically through a hermetically CLOSE.
4. The impeller rotates smoothly, mixing the contents without any direct mechanical connection.
